Venus in Aquarius
Poems by Brana Ostojic
Venus in Aquarius
If anything happens,
it should come from a place
of love and curiosity.
Never from power,
never from
an unsettling energy
that you need to place somewhere
or release into someone.
If every single cell sings while you touch,
and absorbs divine light from a place
usually hidden from our reach
only then,
open up
and stretch as wide as you can.
Give everything,
for you are not really giving
all will stay with you.
The meaning is to live
and to look for a meaning.
And while you look,
calm yourself.
Calm,
and listen.
Forever young
Will I be forever young?
In your eyes, with no shadows,
without wrinkles,
without sorrow.
Forever young,
in the hallways behind your eyes,
in your blood,
in the womb.
Sometimes it feels like
I will be
forever young.
Dog
I look at the sky and
feel the Earth moving.
I guess even when we are still,
we are actually being pushed forward.
All will pass.
It has to.
But I wonder
Should I wait,
or chase the rainbow?
About
Brana Ostojic is from Serbia and has spent years living between countries, languages, and versions of herself. She is interested in Jung, astrology, dreams, karma, and why familiar pain can sometimes feel safer than change. Add chronic overthinking and dark humor, and sometimes those interests become poems.
