Author
Stephen Chadwick was born and raised in central New Hampshire’s
beautiful lakes/mountain region. After his job at a golf course during High School and four years at a ski area he did a thirty-one-year stint at the local building supply.
He married his High School Sweetheart in 1973 and raised two children.
Having had enough of snow, ice, and cold, he and his wife moved to South Carolina’s Low Country in 2007. Stephen renovated four houses while working as a local carpenter. He retired in 2017.
Upon retiring, he caught the writer’s bug. For his own entertainment, he has written twenty short stories and thirty poems. With the encouragement of his wife of fifty years, he joined a writer’s group.
Other interests include his cats and movies, antiquing, and renovating and decorating his historic home.

WALKING WITH BOW AND HEART: IN AN AGE OF STONE
A Little Girl Named Sad
Sometimes brutal, often funny, A Little Girl Named Sad is a frank and startling account of the damaging imprints left behind on children raised by parents with addictive behavior. This novel, based on a true story, is about a little girl and her narrative of the difficult trials encountered while growing up with teenage alcoholic parents. This journey will take readers from the bluebonnets of Texas, snow banks in Illinois, and into the beautiful forests of Oregon.
